Peter Thomas is the founder and President of Averetek, Inc. In this position he designs and implements marketing programs that solve complex business problems for clients as diverse as Microsoft and JPMorgan Chase.
In 2004 Microsoft engaged Averetek to create Microsoft Partner Events and Click to Attend, a best-in-class channel partner marketing program. As the lead architect, Thomas oversaw all aspects of the design, development and implementation, delivering a robust solution that was tremendously successful both for the business and the partner community. By 2009 Microsoft Partner Events had more than 21,000 partners enrolled and processed event registrations in excess of 600,000 each year.
Thomas also led several high-profile projects for WaMu (now JPMorgan Chase), including WaMoola for Schools and the School Savings program. The first of its kind, WaMoola for Schools allowed WaMu’s customers to benefit their local school simply by using their debit cards. More than $4 million were donated to schools in the first year alone. WaMu’s School Savings program was equally successful, providing a way for more than 250,000 children to make deposits into their savings account at their elementary school.
In his 8 years at Averetek Thomas has managed numerous projects for clients such as The Boeing Company, American Express, KPFF Consulting Engineers, Chef’n, and more.
Prior to Averetek, Thomas worked for Revenue Science, managing the implementation of large-scale data warehousing solutions for clients such as J.Crew and American Express. Prior to Revenue Science, Thomas held multiple positions with Microsoft and The Boeing Company.
